Paloga Pty Ltd is a rapidly developing young transport corporation. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Melbourne based executive to undertake the role of State Manager.
Over the last 5 years Paloga Pty Ltd has developed a position as the leading Australian transportation and storage provider to the floor covering industry. It maintains depots in all mainland capitals and in Auckland New Zealand. It has a well established IT system used in tracking vehicle and product movements.
The successful applicant will report directly to the National Operations Manager. The appointee will be responsible for overseeing and for the effectiveness of the Melbourne based operations team which includes operations of transportation and warehousing, customer service and accounting. The applicant will be required to assist in developing customer relations, building a climate of positive human resources and implementing effective OHS and W policies.
For success in this executive role you will have a proven track record in senior management, preferably with recent management qualifications; well developed interpersonal skills and excellent customer management capability.
The State Manager will have responsibility to achieve clearly defined financial goals. The remuneration package will include KPIs developed mutually and a negotiated package to range from $65,000 to $75,000 dependent upon the experience of the applicant.
